Hesham Shehab is from Lebanon, born to a Suni Muslim family. One time as a teenager, he and his older brother met a Muslim Brotherhood recruiter. The recruiter talked about establishing Islam throughout the world. That it was the duty of real Muslims to convert or subjugate all infidels. After 2 years of training and fighting, Lebanon broke out into civil war. Hesham wanted to fight, but not to kill innocent people (just defend against crusaders). So instead, the Muslim brotherhood put Hesham to train with a Syrian man for 6 years to become an Islamic preacher.
2 weeks before he started his Islamic preaching career, however, he got into a sever car accident that broke both his legs and he was bed ridden for 1 year. During this time, he learned English and enrolled with the intention of going into medical school. But at the time, his brother was killed by Christian militia.
Hesham had hatred and he wanted revenge. He had a gun an a silencer ready for action. But during this time, he enrolled in a course that was talking about the New Testament and the professor taught what Jesus said in the Sermon of the Mount - 'Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you'. Hesham thought this was ridiculous, but it challenged him. Hesham had memorized 1/2 the Qur'an, but didn't see Jesus' teachings there. So he decided to study the teachings of Jesus and compared the Bible and the Qur'an. He concluded that Jesus was the truth, but he found it hard to accept. Thankfully over time he did, and he worked on being a peacemaker between the Christian and Muslim militia. He was invited to preach at a 500 people convention. He portrayed Jesus as a 'Ghandi', a peacemaker between Muslims and Christians. This fed Hesham's ego. He wanted to return to become a moderate Muslim trying to bridge the gap.
But that's when he got a power vision of light. Jesus told him to seek him among the living, not among the dead. Jesus is not a Ghandi, He is a Saviour.
Hesham realized his mistake in the identity of Jesus. There was an exclusivity to Jesus, you either follow Him or you don't. So he quit his job to dedicate in fully serving Jesus as a pastor. Watch his full story here:
This is the story of Dan El-Ayache, a Lebanese American man born in Saudi Arabia in 80's because of the civil war in his home country at the time. He is part of the small Druze sect of Islam.
His dad has gone to Mecca and has done the Hajj pilgrimage. His mother studied sharia law in Saudi Arabia. Around 2011, he started to become willingly very devout in Druze Islam for 5 years - fasting and praying. He was not as devout when he was in Saudia Arabia because he felt repelled due to the enforcement of the religious police.
On the great night of power Laylat-al-qadr, where he believed he would get more blessing praying to Allah at the mosque, he was listening to the Sheikh speak. Dan had struggled on a few dark passages in the Qur'an. People told him he needed to know Arabic to figure out the truth of the passages. But Dan, was fully fluent in Arabic and still struggled with them.
So for a period of 6-7 years, he fell back to becoming a cultural Muslim (no longer prayed nor fasted, only said the right things when asked).
On January 2023, Dan had a dream/vision that shooked him. He saw a huge angel talking to him. Although the angel spoke a language he didn't know, he could understand because the angel was showing him things at the time. Right after that, he had a couple of evil encounters, being lured with money. That led him to go back to prayer and reading the Arabic Qur'an.
Dan's daughter's health deteriorated at that time from a limp to being in a wheelchair. As Dan read Surah Maryam, about the birth of Jesus, he felt he needed to read the original story in the new testament in the Bible. He listented to it in Arabic, and the gospel of Matthew left a deep impression in him.
Dan had another vision, and felt being picked up and flying over the cross. Her daughter was feeling worse. Dan broke down in tears. Then he remembered Jesus saying that anything you ask in His name, would be given to him. So Dan prayed for his daughter's healing. Then next day, Dan had to go on a plane. As he was on the plane, he got a text message from his wife and a video of his daughter walking! The same daughter that was in pain in a wheelchair was walking!
The dreams, the visions, the miraculous healing, all pointed Dan into receiving Jesus as His personal Saviour. Listen to his amazing story here (~1 hour testimony).
Kamal was a very devouted Muslim from Lebanon. He learned about Jihad since he was very young. He felt chosen to go to the US to make cultural Jihad - recruiting people into Islam. And then, he got into a major car accident that broke parts of his neck. That put his life in the hands of the people he hated the most. Each person trying to help him told him: "Don't worry, we are going to take care of you. Everything is going to be alright".
Kamal was initially very scared, because each man who said this was a Christian. And in terrorism, these words have a very different connotation. Even after being discharged from the hospital, he needed to be cared for. But Kamal had no one to turn to. So the orthopedic surgeon open his own house and gave him the best room at home for him to recover. The outpour of love of christians was unbelievable.
Once Kamal was able to take care of himself, he left. But the surgeon had one last surprise. He was entrusted with keys to the house and blessed him with a car.
Kamal went home devastated. He needed to settle things with Allah. He needed an answer from Allah as the christians heard from God. But Allah said nothing. Questioning his faith led him to desire suicide. He heard a voice calling him. Why don't you call on the God of father Abraham? He came into the room, and his name is Yahweh. He had holes in his hand, and his name is Jesus. He is the alpha and omega, beginning and end. He knew Kamal before the foundation of the Earth and when he was in his mother's womb.
Kamal wanted to live and die for Jesus. Jesus said, He died for him so that he could live. Threats of violence and death cannot stop Kamal sharing his story. Listen to this amazing testimony here!
Hassan is originally a Muslim from Lebanon. His mom was beaten and abused frequently by her father. Soon after being born, his father ran off to Toronto. They later all moved to Toronto, but the beatings got worse. They decided to move to Montreal and his father even wanted to murder his mother with a knife, but thankfully no one was hurt. Back in Toronto, Hassan's mother took multiple shifts to make ends meet.
Hassan started to dive deep into Islam, but he could find no peace. No amount of praying or reading the Qur'an helped. It only increased his fears. Hassan had nightmares and visions of hell and became suicidal. He then got a job in a restaurant during Ramadan when he was 19. Then a fight broke off in the kitchen where a brother slit the throat of his own younger brother! This was a very traumatic experience for Hassan and it intensified his depression. That is when he got a vision, clearly not a dream. He was spiraling down to hell and no one heard his plea. Then a shout of an angel said 'The Messiah is coming'. Was this the Mahdi from Islam? No, the description didn't fit. Hassan's legs where paralyzed. But this divine being came with power as every footstep shook mountains. Light shone out of Him. Hassan knew this was not a man. This bright divine being said: 'Son, get up and walk'. As he read/prayed from a book, He was speaking life. Hassan walked a bit and then fell down to worship Him. 'Son if you are looking for peace, you can find it in Me'.
Then Hassan got 11 dreams of Judgment Day. He thought he needed to be a Jew, but the doors closed. 10 years went by and Hassan became depressed and went into drugs. He got into a relationship and his girlfriend got baptized. A few days after the event, Hassan started to tear and suddenly saw a red cross as he was driving. Hassan cried for a very long time, maybe an hour. This love engulfed him. He felt bad for the things that he had done. He was asked to go to a youth group meeting, and he agreed. He automatically screamed and asked Jesus to help him. Since then, Hassan has been following Jesus and sharing the gospel with those who are willing to hear. Listen to this powerful testimony!
