This is the story of Mayuri Sharma, a woman born and raised in a Hindu Brahmin caste society. Although she was well educated, she did not know much about Jesus. Through life, Christians encouraged her to read the Bible and ask for herself if Jesus is indeed truly God. So she took on the challenge. Mayuri read the Bible and started praying and asking Jesus, if He is real and God, that He would reveal to her through a dream.
Things got crazy after that. God really revealed the truth to her. She started to understand the dark spiritual world, but also that Jesus had victory over it. In some of her dreams, she recalls seeing Jesus being victorious over demons. When she knew Jesus was real, she threw away all other idols. She knew she had no protection from God after throwing the idols, so she accepted Jesus as her Lord. She had a vision of Jesus and a stairway with angels going up and down from Heaven.

This is the story of Naresh Boda, a man born into a religious Hindu family from the Banchara/Lambati tribe in India. He comes from a small village in Telangana and used to worship the harvest gods. Naresh was very devoted and participated in many rituals. He didn’t like Christians and hated them the most. When he passed by a church, he would spit at it. He saw Christianity as an invading foreign religion.
Naresh’s family moved to Hyderabad when he was 3. His father was not very educated, but he wanted Naresh to go to a good school. He had a humble upbringing where his classmate’s families owned cars, while his own family was just making ends meet. Naresh was bullied by classmates, sexually abused by senior students, and belittled by teachers because he came from a rural village. Naresh lied a lot and stole a lot when he was young.
Naresh miraculously passed his 10th grade exam. He had promised that he would offer 10 coconuts at a local temple and 15 coconuts in his hometown temple if he had passed. As he went back to his hometown to fulfill his vow, he was about to offer the coconuts. There was a Hindu priest there, and told Naresh to give him money personally to offer the coconuts. Naresh declined and put the money he had in the offering box. Naresh vowed never to come back again, because God would not put an unfaithful Hindu priest to care for that temple. Back in Hyderabad, Naresh was about to offer coconuts at the temple. But the Hindu priest closed the doors and denied him from offering the coconuts. But just within 2 minutes, a rich man comes in a white car to do an offering there and the same Hindu priest opens the doors to this richer person. Again, Naresh questioned why God would put a discriminating priest like this there? These incidents made Naresh doubt his own beliefs about gods.
AS Naresh grew into a teenager, he started having more bad habits like having multiple girlfriends simultaneously and was filled with pride. Naresh started to skip class, which led him to do odd jobs.
Naresh was invited to church. After declining a few times, he finally accepted to go to church. When he got there, he was taken aback how rich people humbly welcomed him in. This touched Naresh’s heart deeply. Naresh heard testimonies of people whose lives were changed by following Jesus. Naresh said he wanted to worship both his gods and add Jesus as a deity. But the pastor told him he had to choose one or the other. Naresh started to read the Bible from Genesis. Many of his questions were answered. He got convicted about lying, stealing, immoral relationships, about his unholy life. He started to pray, and saw a change in his whole demeanor.
One day, he had a dream. He saw a street with theaters running movies with nudity. There were evil spirits trying to haunt him. And then he saw a bright light open up from the skies. Naresh knew it was God. All his fear left him. He saw a picture of a glassy table and chairs in the skies. He was filled with joy. He shared this dream with the youth pastor. The pastor told him to read Psalm 23, and when Naresh did, it touched him. Naresh became dedicated in his studies as he followed Jesus and did very well. Today he is working for a large financial firm, something he never even dreamt could happen. Watch his amazing testimony here:
This is the story of Preeti from India. She was born and raised to a Hindu household that worshipped many of the 300 million gods that exist in that religion. She was taught to be kind to others. As she grew older, she was accepted into a top business school in India. She was humbled when her grades where not the top, and it drove her into depression.
Then she thought she needed to appease the gods. So she prayed to Ganesha, the elephant god of education and knowledge. As she prayed, she saw a huge elephant with big tusks charging towards her, and she was scared and thought even her god turned against her.
She remember she had a small Gideon’s bible, and she read it. It was very tangible and practical. She felt this incredible force upon her that lifted up the burdens she had. At the time, it was during the middle of the night. Preeti's sister saw that Preeti was glowing! Preeti knew that it was Jesus taking care of her, and there was nothing to worry.
Some time passed and decided to go to church for the first time, and was told the gospel and she accepted Jesus. Preeti said that Jesus is the only God that communicates. That made her lose friendships and they turned away from her for following Jesus. Preeti always wondered why there aren’t hundreds of doors that lead to God. Jesus told her that he made it simple, just one door. He is the only way to God, there is no other way.

This is the story of an Indian lady named Sharon who grew up as a Muslim in Bombay. She was born to an Indian family that valued education. Even though excelled in arts, her parents wanted her to study engineering instead.
One day as she was studying for an exam, she received a vision that would change her life. She was locked in her room alone trying to study. Then a voice told her to pray. She tried to ignore the voice at first, but couldn't in the end. She only knew how to pray at set times, and at 1:30pm, it was already passed that. So she simply closed her eyes, asking that if there was a God, that He would reveal himself to her. And then, she saw a bright image. Although she had no Christian background, she had no doubt it was Jesus. And she fell down crying, realizing the dark spots of pride and self-righteousness that polluted her heart.
After the vision, she wanted to know better who Jesus was. A friend of her gave her the Bible to read. Once she got the holy book, she read it for very long periods of time, from 8pm to 3am. She was wondering why she had seen Jesus? This inner battle continued within her. But as time passed, Sharon approached life in a different way. She could now relate with her Creator. She could pray to Him. But it also meant the difficult choice of leaving her parents for Jesus. It was a costly decision, but Jesus helped her every step of the way because God is and always will be faithful.

Ansari lives in India. He was raised in a traditional Muslim family. His original name was Syed, but he decided to change his name later on in life. When Ansari was a teenager, his biology teacher came to class one day with a totally different appearance. She didn't have a big bindi mark on her forehead and was wearing a white sari. This type of dress made Ansari think that his teacher’s husband had passed away as he approached to ask her. Surprisingly, his teacher said she had a vivid dream where Jesus Christ had lifter her up. Ansari began arguing with her, since he never saw Jesus as more than a mere prophet. But his teacher ascertained that Jesus is God and that He completely changed her life. She confidently told Ansari that one day, he will come to understand the truth like she did.
One day two years later, Ansari’s parents were arguing at home. He recalls that on December 24th, 1990, his dad hit his mom and she was left bloodied. Ansari’s dad then even fought him. The family completely broke apart that day and Ansari was kicked out of the house. Ansari was considering suicide. Then he heard an audible voice say. "Ansari - try me, I'm Jesus." That confused him. Ansari immediately thought about the incident he had with his biology teacher a couple of years ago.
So Ansari decided to meet up with his biology teacher that day. He wanted some answers from her. She told Ansari that Jesus loves him and that Jesus wanted to save his life. The next day it was Christmas, and Ansari went to attend a church service for the first time. The title of the sermon was unique, “Jesus, born to die”. Ansari learned that He is the only one to raise from the dead to defeat death. That day, Ansari gave his life to Jesus.
He wanted to become secret believer. But his mother found out about Ansari getting baptized and around sixty family members gathered together to pressure him to return to Islam. He was tortured and persecuted by his own family for over three years, but Jesus was with him throughout the trial. His mom even tried to use witchcraft to bring him back. She did that by paying a witch and handing them a personal artifact of Ansari. The witch locked herself up to start the ritual and half an hour later, she ran out and returned the money to her mother. Your son has a wall of fire around him and I cannot reach him! All my powers have been burned up, so leave him alone.
Ansari later on became a pastor. His mom eventually came to his church one day, surprising Ansari. The sermon topic wasn’t particularly gospel focused, but it spoke to her so deeply because it related to the witchcraft incident, that she gave her life to Jesus right there and then.

Indian guru follows Jesus!
A Maharashi is an honorary title given to a Hindu teacher, a sage in its religion. The Maharashi are not to listen to any other religious beliefs. In fact, his belief allows them to order people to rightfully stone whoever tries to share their faith with them.
A man named Ravi had a dream one day. In that dream, Ravi was instructed to go near a specific giant Hindu temple to look for a man with a white beard dressed in orange and also wearing an orange turban. Ravi decided to follow his dream and went to the Hindu temple he saw in his dream. Coincidentally, when he arrived, he saw the man in orange as in the dream. What he didn’t know, was that that man, a Maharashi, also had a dream in which he saw Jesus and was told to meet a man there to tell him more about who Jesus is. When the Maharashi saw Ravi, he knew that was the man that would tell him more about Jesus. The meeting clearly showed roots of more of a divine appointment rather than a mere coincidence.
As they started talking, a crowd started to form around them. In order to focus in their conversation, they decided to go to a quiet place. There, Ravi told him about the Gospel, that salvation comes through Jesus. The Maharashi believed and accepted prayer to follow Jesus. What did the Maharashi do after he was told the good news of the gospel? He told his own followers. He wanted to tell everyone he knew, he simply couldn't hold back. Why? Because the best things in life are shared and not kept for themselves.
Since them, the Maharashi continues to tell people about Jesus. He gives all the credit to Jesus. To prove that he has chosen the right path, he has performed many miraculous healings, in the name of Jesus.
Many things are impossible for mere humans. But nothing is impossible for an almighty and all powerful God. Watch this short but amazing nine minute video of the encounter!
Musthafa is an Indian Muslim that followed many Islamic rituals and traditions growing up. But hearing an audible voice changed his life. He originally thought it was the voice of Allah. Instinctively, Musthafa wanted to go pray at a Mosque following the voice encounter, but he sensed a strong spiritual power that prevented him from going. Musthafa followed the power which led him to a person preaching about Jesus. Musthafa didn't understand much at the time because he didn't speak that language. Later, the voice revealed to him it was indeed Jesus. And following a personal prayer, Musthafa looked and there was Jesus. Jesus’ power was so great that Musthafa couldn't even stand and involuntarily fell down to the floor to worship.
Jesus asked who would talk to others about him. Musthafa doubted because of his speech impediment, but had the heart. With that heart, the Lord healed him and Musthafa has been preaching ever since answering the call. Listen to his testimony here.
This is the story of Mohammed Ajhas from India. He was a very devouted Sunni Muslim. There was a traditional Islamic story that really puzzled him. In the story, Allah originally commanded the Islamic prophet Muhammad to pray 50 times a day. The story goes on to say that prophet Musa overruled this and suggested 5 times. Today, Muslims pray five times a day which was what prophet Musa said. Mohammed questioned how could prophet Musa overrule Allah? This and many other questions caused Mohammed to contemplate commiting suicide under a tree. As he was about to end his life, he saw a plate verse saying "your sorrows will turn into joy". And then, he heard an audible voice telling him to go home, and he obediently followed.
Mohammed recognized the same voice that talked to him earlier, started to talk to him at home too but this time in the form of a dream/vision. That voice said, I am the Lord Jesus Christ.
