Ramadan 2026 - Borderless Canada Prayer Guide

  We have been getting to know three Kabyle (Algerian Berber) families: Tizara and Amir, Leila and Wahid, and Hana. These families are new in faith, with Tizara accepting Christ this past fall. Tizara and Amir are preparing for baptism this year. Their time in Montreal ranges from ten years to three months, and all are learning French. They attend our church, growing in Scripture and involved in community. It has been encouraging to watch them embrace this new chapter with openness, seeking to know Jesus deeper. This is a huge answer to prayer, as most Kabyle believers in Montreal struggle to integrate into church long term.

  “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

1. Pray that these families would grow strong in their faith, deeply rooted in Christ and His Word. 
2. Pray for Tizara and Amir as they prepare for baptism, that God would give them boldness and joy. 
3. Pray that they would prioritize church, growing in faith and using their gifts to build up the body of Christ.

  Nous apprenons à connaître trois familles kabyles (Berbères d’Algérie) : Tizara et Amir, Leila et Wahid, et Hana. Ces familles sont nouvelles dans la foi, Tizara ayant accepté Christ l’automne dernier. Tizara et Amir se préparent au baptême cette année.

Leur temps à Montréal varie de dix ans à trois mois, et tous apprennent le français. Ils fréquentent notre église, grandissant dans les Écritures et participant à la communauté. Il a été encourageant de les voir embrasser ce nouveau chapitre avec ouverture, cherchant à connaître Jésus plus profondément. C’est une grande réponse à la prière, car la plupart des croyants kabyles à Montréal ont du mal à s’intégrer durablement dans l’église.

  Ainsi donc, tout comme vous avez accueilli le Seigneur Jésus-Christ, marchez en lui;  soyez enracinés et fondés en lui, affermis dans la foi telle qu’elle vous a été enseignée, et soyez-en riches en exprimant votre reconnaissance à Dieu.
