"Marina" is a Christian from Libya coming from a Muslim background. Libya is a country known for extremist who video taped the gruesome beheading of 21 Christians that refused to deny Jesus even with their last breath. She tells many stories of the great cost Christians face when they leave Islam.
"Omar", also another Christian from Libya, is facing intense persecution for sharing his new found faith with other Libyans. There is great misunderstanding among Libyans what it is to have a true relationship with God. Like that of an adopted son, and not like that of a master/slave.
Marina came to know Jesus through a dream. She dreamt she was in a very dark, evil place. Suddenly, she felt a hand take her out of that place of fear, into light. She didn't understand the dream. She turned on the TV and immediately a pastor said that someone was taken from darkness to light. She understood this was Jesus who took her out of the darkness.

As a child, Sanusi was trained to become a vodoo priest. He saw people die when people were cursed. The spiritual world was extremely real. One day, he was starting to go blind. No vodoo magic or glasses would be able to repair his vision.
Then Sanusi when to visit his sister in another village, she asked him to watch a TV program with her that had changed her life. That night, Sanusi had a vivid dream where he saw a man on the cross who said his sins are forgiven! The dream convicted him, so he and his wife decided to follow Jesus and become christians.
Sanusi was still partially blind. A week later, he saw the TV show again and followed the white man on TV to pray for healing of his eyes. Suddenly, his vision was somehow restored. He is thankful to God and how He revealed Himself to Sanusi. Watch this short testimony and hear his story yourself!
Hephzibah is the daughter of a strict Muslim Imam in Ghana. At a young age, she lost her mother. Her father sent her to an Arab school to learn Islam. She developed a good bond with her English teacher, who was a Christian.
After finishing her highschool, she was ready to further her studies. But her father used up the money for a lavish wedding for his new bride. Hephzibah was disappointed and sad. That's when she got a dream. She vividly saw a person looking for her and gave her a phone number. Interestingly, she could remember the number. She didn't call right away, but she was hoping the call would help her.
The number led to a pastor. She met him in person and decided to accept and follow Jesus as her Saviour. The next day, her father told her he was sending her to school. Hephzibah's prayer was heard! She kept on going to church and even told her siblings about Jesus and many of them accepted Him too!
Eventually she couldn't hide her faith and told her father she had become a Christian. She completed Bible School and lives in the US now. Although her own biological father left her, her Heavenly Father loves her unconditionally. Listen to this short 5-min beautiful testimony!
Abdu got a dream about Jesus when he was 16 after reading from a borrowed Bible. Suleman and Salima, Abdu's parents, were fundamentalist Muslims. Abdu's neighbours and village leaders hated him and attacked him. They were about to take full measure and kill Abdu. Even Abdu's father wanted to kill him. Thankfully, Abdu was spared and he was exiled to another village and worked at a church as a security guard. He read 100's of books about Christianity to know more about Jesus.
Abdu's mother heard Abdu was not drinking alcohol and doing good (different than his peers). So she secretly went to see Abdu because she missed him dearly. The change in Abdu was clear enough that she started to consider Christianity. Yet it still took 10 years for her to believe in Jesus. Changes in both of their characters affected Abdu's father Suleman, and a year later he also decided to follow Jesus! Now they have 40 family members following Jesus. Hear about this amazing story yourself!
Lisa Nazha is originally from Morocco but grew up in the Netherlands. Her father was a violent man, a womanizer whose sexual desire almost led him to nearly rape Lisa's sister. She grew up with a very disturbing upbringing. She was called a Jew, which within a Muslim family was equal to a cuss word.
Lisa had a dream when she was 8. She saw Jesus. And Jesus asked her if she wanted to live in His house, and she said yes. She understood this meant accepting Jesus into her heart, and she did.
As she grew up, Lisa was bullied. But through those discouragements, she got visions of Jesus that encouraged her to fight through the valleys of her life.
Lisa got married with a tall, Catholic man. Unfortunately, he did not love Jesus. Although there were 7 medical conditions with Lisa that she was deemed barren, she had a revelation that she would have a child, a son. Against all odds, she had a child just as it was revealed to her. Unfortunately, her husband turned out to be a liar, a womanizer. Lisa finally left this man.
It's been decades, but Lisa continues to faithfully serve Jesus - sharing the joy of following God with people in Netherlands.
Aklem was a devoted Muslim woman from Tunisia. She had a dream where she was in a pit and saw Jesus. In her dream, he offered her the choice to be saved. So Aklem decided to follow Jesus.
Later, her sister from Paris shared with Aklem that she had become a follower of Jesus too! So her sister helped Aklem find a church in Tunisia, where she was baptized. Aklem met her a man there who became her husband and now have a family together.
Aklem faced opposition from family. Her older sister is very religious and often hid Aklem's bible. Aklem is now working in media to reach people with the saving message of the gospel with SAT7.
People all over the world, including places where the Bible is illegal. A true God is able to reach even the most difficult to reach places, because He is indeed almighty and is not limited to the control of governmental entities.
This is the story of Mariam. She is an Algerian who lived in Mecca to a devout Muslim family. She used to wear the full hijab and followed the traditions of Islam. She always wanted to love Allah, but it was never reciprocated. As she became a mother, she thought she would sense the love of Allah, but that never came.
The lack of presence of God in her life drove her to doubt her faith. But she had one last 'test' to believe in a true God, whoever it is. That test the following requests.
- She wanted to have peace in her heart, to feel the love of God.
- She wanted to see God.
- She didn't want to see some people at her birthday that she had to invite. She wanted them to not show up on their own accord.
- She wanted to pay off a debt that was not due to her own fault.
Then she had a dream. There was a little hole she looked out from her house. And she saw her life ... a life full of misery and injustices done to her. And then someone was behind her, and she somehow knew it was Jesus. She grabbed her arm and told her it was enough. Enough fighting, enough misery. Then she woke up. She called a friend and told them she needed to get baptized. It was a long process, but it was as sweet as eating a spoonful of honey every day. Listen to her story in her own native language!
Fatima's sister dreams about ending up in hell and demons approached her. Then an angel said 'The Messiah is coming!' and Jesus and his light came to save her. Jesus said: "I am the truth and I am the life. I'm coming back and you have to focus on me". There was a sudden joy, but then the gladness was taken away unfortunately.
Fatima met a lady that felt moved to tell her 'Jesus loves you and has a great plan for you'. God had prompted this lady to pray for a Fatima a week ago. Fatima saw something different in her. She wanted what this lady had. This lady led her to Christ and gave her a Bible. So in 2020 Fatima decided to follow Jesus.
Fatima felt like the prodigal son, as a daughter in Christ. She was encouraged to find that other ex-Muslims had similar stories like hers. Now Fatima knows the void in her heart can only be filled with Jesus.
Praise the Lord that we can go to Him in our brokenness.
This is the story of Ugandan man Umar Mulinde. He was born and raised as a Muslim man. He knows Arabic and thoroughly studied the Qur'an and specialized in interpreting Haddiths. He was zealous for Allah, leading a mosque for a year.
Then he got a dream. His hands and feet bound up and fire around him. It terrified him. But someone standing on the right called Umar to repent and follow Jesus. He did his Islamic prayers hoping the dream would go away. But the dreams continued, for weeks.
Then he remembered a person preaching with the Bible and the Qur'an. He remembered how interesting it was that Isa was mentioned 90+ times and Jesus' mother also 90+ times. No other names are mentioned more in the Qur'an. He remembered the person said to pray in Jesus name, and things would happen. And it did. Umar gave his life to Jesus. He met true peace and love. He discovered the truth.
But that is the beginning of suffering for Jesus, as he was attacked with acid. These scars have changed his life, but instead of hating his enemies, Umar continues to share Jesus' love through forgiveness. Watch this amazing testimony.
How devoted to God can someone be? Meet Betty. She was born in Sierra Leone, Africa. She grew up as a devout Muslim. She got married to a Sheikh and was even more devout than her husband - praying for hours in the middle of the night.
Her passion to follow the pillars of Islam drove her to engage in the Hajj pilgrimage 2 times, where she was able to touch the ka'baa.
Passionate Muslims are known for their calloused foreheads that come as a result of rubbing your forehead to the carpet when doing salat (praying). Her calloused forehead used to be so heavy it was black.
Very few people can compare their zeal for God as this lady had. And then she got 3 dreams of Jesus. The third one, which was most powerful dream for her, saw Jesus with a crown of thorns. Seeing fresh blood being spilled to save her of her sins remains vividly imprinted in her memory. The power of the Lord Jesus has changed her life completely.
The callous skin on her forehead has since fallen. She vibrantly and boldly preaches the Gospel as a witness of the love of God. Listen to this amazing story from Betty for yourself.
No matter where you are or what background you come from, if you honestly and humbly as God to show you the truth, Jesus will guide you to the truth.
Carla* was groomed to be a suicide bomber. She was going to blow herself up at a local market. Before doing so, she got a profound dream. A man in dazzling white says "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. Follow me and you will preach the gospel."
Carla asked a Christian for answers, learned about the gospel, and accepted Jesus.
Carla has then a second dream! The same man wearing dazzling white tells her to go to the regional Jihadist commander and tell him the gospel. The commander was greatly feared as he had been responsible for the death of thousands.
Despite warnings to not go, Carla was determined and went. She was somehow able to approach the commander and tell her the gospel. The commander fell down in tears. Why? Three days ago, Jesus had appeared to the commander in a dream. He told the commander he was in a path of destruction. He needed to change. And was told that a woman would come and tell him about the gospel. He believed, and then ordered all his officers to come (3 truckloads). Carla coordinated with the Jesusfilm team and shared the gospel in the local heart language. Nearly 1000 people have accepted Jesus and renounced terrorism.
* the name of Carla has been changed to protect her identity.
Ali was a jihadi. He had a long beard, wore white clothing and trained to fight alongside the Taliban in Afghanistan. One of Ali’s brothers, however, had become a Christian.
Ali belonged to an Islamist cell group that distributed tracts about fasting, Islamic dress and joining the jihad. But in 1992, following a crackdown on Islamists, he suddenly found himself at the top of the Algerian government’s most-wanted list.
One day, frustrated with his self-imposed house arrest, Ali went for a bus ride and got off at a random stop. A young woman at the bus stop caught his eye, so he asked her if he could talk to her. “No,” she said bluntly, “don’t talk to me. I am a Christian.”
Ali was surprised, not least because it was a risky thing for her to admit. Still, he was attracted to her, so he tried another approach. “My brother is a Christian,” he told her. “Really?” she asked. The girl then told him that she had become a believer by listening to Christian radio stations and writing down the Bible verses she heard. She had never even met a Christian.
As the girl became more comfortable talking with Ali, she boldly asked him if he could get her a Bible from his brother. Eager to please, Ali did get her a Bible, and in the process he became curious about what it had to say. He read the Bible, compared its teaching with the Quran and began to ask questions at the mosque.
Then one night he had a dream in which Jesus spoke to him: “Come to me all who are heavy burdened and I will give you rest.” Ali woke up and immediately felt as if a load had been lifted from his shoulders. “At that moment,” he said, “I woke up and told him, ‘Lord, forgive me. You are Christ, you are God and I believe.’”
